I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I have had 2 major weight losses over my life time. The first weight loss was to join the United States Navy. I walked into the recruiter's at 230 lbs and walked into boot camp weighing in at 186 and got down to 174 at the end of boot camp. The second was when I gained sympathy weight as my former partner carried my daughter. I pushed the scales at my heaviest ever at 276. I knew then need to fix my health. I struggled to climb stairs and I felt like I was going to die when it came time to tie my shoes. All of my joints were achy. I had wide spread generalized pain, especially in my forearms. I had headaches daily. Something needed to change. I began to change my diet. I researched and taught myself what is good for my body and what may be poising my body. My journey has guided me to educate people on the best way to get the best out of their body everyday. As a certified health coach I can guide you in your journey to health and wellness too.
